How did Armenians change Tbilisi? We will talk about this at the lecture in Papers.

Tbilisi was built by Armenians — is it true? This may be a myth, but it is very difficult to deny the influence of the Armenian diaspora on the life of the Georgian capital. In the lecture we will discuss: ◽️when and where Armenians first appeared in Tbilisi, where and why they left; ◽️which representatives of the Armenian diaspora had the greatest impact on Tbilisi; ◽️how Armenian churches and cemeteries were built in Tbilisi. The lecture will be conducted by researcher of the history of Tiflis in the 19th–20th centuries, Aida Babajanova.
