Mikhail Bulgakov: Georgian Pages of Biography

This topic is dedicated to a new lecture that will take place at the Papers bar on July 16. In Georgia, Bulgakov tried to start a new life, planned to emigrate, and, according to one version, met a woman who became the prototype for Margarita. At the lecture, we will discuss: ▫️ why Batumi turned out to be a fateful city for Bulgakov; ▫️ what role Stalin and Krupskaya played in his destiny; ▫️ who Bulgakov's three wives were and how closely his life aligns with the saying "The first wife is from God, the second from people, the third from the devil." The lecture will be delivered by Vitaly Kibitlevsky — a poet and guide with a decade of experience, author of articles and lectures on the history of Georgia and writers. Payment on the spot, in cash or by card.
