Come to the lecture on the life and work of Mayakovsky!

His name is most often associated with Soviet poetry, propaganda posters, and revolution. But behind the familiar image lies a contradictory personality with a complex fate. By the way, the poet's life is directly connected to Georgia: here Mayakovsky was born and spent his early years. In the lecture, we will learn: ▫️ what Mayakovsky's childhood was like in Georgia and whether he spoke Georgian; ▫️ what stories accompanied his visits to Georgia and where his house-museum is located; ▫️ in which films the poet acted and why he always drank beer with his left hand; ▫️ why there have always been so many scandals surrounding Mayakovsky's name. The lecture will be delivered by Vitaly Kibitlevsky — a poet and tour guide with 10 years of experience, author of articles and lectures on the history of Georgia and biographies of writers. The lecture will be conducted in Russian Payment on site in cash or by card.
