Excursion to the Ethnographic Museum of Tbilisi

Visiting the Ethnographic Museum The Tbilisi Ethnographic Museum is an open-air museum founded half a century ago on the slopes of the Trialeti Range, along the road from Vake Park to Turtle Lake. Here, residential houses, manors, and agricultural buildings from various regions of Georgia are collected — from Kakheti to Adjara and Samegrelo. On the tour we will: ▫️see traditional Georgian houses and understand how they are arranged; ▫️explore marani, winemaking tools, and discuss the role of wine in everyday life; ▫️view ancient artifacts: a church from the 6th–7th centuries, a dolmen from the 2nd millennium BC, and other archaeological objects. Price: 70 ₾. Additionally, there will be a museum entrance fee: 8 ₾ for Georgian citizens and foreigners with residence permits, 25 ₾ for others.
