Tour of the Megobrebi Brewery

**Excursion to Megobrebi** We are going on a tour to the Megobrebi brewery to see the production process — they brew over 90 types of beer — and to taste the freshly brewed beer as well as the infusions made from a mixture of rare Caucasian fruits and berries. The tour will be conducted by Lyubov Basmanova — a guide and microbiologist with brewing experience — along with the Megobrebi staff. They will tell us about the history and secrets of brewing and how new flavors are created. We will also discuss the myths that have formed around craft beer and the culture of brewing and consuming beer in Georgia. You will see the complete cycle of beer production, learn to distinguish raw materials and ingredients, taste different types of malt, explore the equipment — from the crusher to the bottling line — and even visit the brewery's secret warehouse in an authentic Soviet bunker. **Buy tickets**
