Trip to Dmanisi with an archaeologist

Let's go on an excavation with the leader of the archaeological expedition! We are traveling to the sites of archaeological discoveries with paleontologist Giorgi Bidzinashvili — a participant in the findings of the earliest humans in the Caucasus. After all, who better than the excavation leader can tell us about their results? On this trip we will see: ▫️Gadachrili Mountain in Marneuli — the place where wine was made 8000 years ago; ▫️Kveshi — a medieval fortress with a rich history; ▫️Madneuli — the oldest gold mines in the world (4th century BC); ▫️Dmanisi — the site of the discovery of the "first Europeans" — Zezva and Mzia; ▫️Orozmani — the workplace of our guide, where a tooth of an ancient human was found in 2022. We will also try traditional sourdough bread, famous in Kvemo Kartli, and have lunch with local dishes. All-inclusive format: transfer, lunch, museum tickets, and a tour are included.
