1920s: a time of farewells, tragedies, and hopes
About
With the arrival of Soviet power, the fates of representatives of the intellectual and cultural elite of Georgia unfolded differently. In every courtyard of the Vera district, which was the center of their lives, their own dramas unfolded.
Come to the lecture at Papers on May 10. You will discover why some cultural and scientific figures decided to leave Georgia, while others chose internal emigration. We will discuss tragic events, significant changes, but most importantly—the hope that people maintained despite any difficult circumstances.
