Lara Isaeva
Lara Isaeva was born in Tbilisi to a Russian father (born in Batumi) and a Ukrainian mother (her grandparents came to Tbilisi from Cherkasy, fleeing the famine of the 1920s). Until the age of six, she lived in Avlabar, and then moved with her parents to Moscow, where she graduated from school and the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). For 30 years, she worked in film as a producer and director, and also acted as an actress. The film "Dura," directed by Maxim Korostyshevskiy, is her first producing project, while the musical comedy "Antisex" marks her debut as a film director. She is the founder of Russia's first acting agency "MAX" and worked as an agent for actors such as Chulpan Khamatova, Ingeborga Dapkunaitė, Alexei Serebryakov, Anatoly Bely, Alexander Baluyev, and many other stars of theater and cinema. She participated in castings for Hollywood blockbusters like "The Peacemaker" with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman, "Collision with the Abyss" with Vanessa Redgrave and Maximilian Schell, and worked with directors such as Eldar Ryazanov, Vladimir Khotinenko, Vladimir Menshov, Vadim Abdrashitov, Alla Surikova, Kirill Serebrennikov, and others. In 2017, she returned to her homeland, Tbilisi, and opened the bar “UTSKHO,” where she experimented with author cuisine, including a keto menu, and also regularly held read-aloud sessions - soul therapy (fairytales for adults, comedies, tragic farces). In Tbilisi, she directed two plays – "Obnazhenka" (with actresses from the Griboedov Theater) and "Karol and Striptease." In her plans are productions featuring theater stars and reading sessions of new (or forgotten) authors in the comedy genre.
